How Homeware Edit earns money from affiliate links, and what that means for our recommendations.
Homeware Edit participates in affiliate programs. This page explains the arrangement in plain language, as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidelines and by the terms of the programs themselves.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is the same. The commission does not change what we recommend.
Affiliate links appear inside articles, in comparison tables, in product callouts, and occasionally in the “Shop the Look” section of the homepage. Articles that contain affiliate links carry a disclosure at the top, before the first commercial link.
A commission does not buy:
We choose what to cover before we know whether an affiliate program exists for it, and we routinely recommend the cheaper option, the second-hand option, or the option we do not earn anything on when it is the right answer.
Our buying guides are built from published specifications, retailer documentation, and the practical constraints of a room or garden — dimensions, materials, care requirements, and what typically fails first. We do not claim hands-on laboratory testing we have not done. Where we have not used a product, the guide says what is known and what is not.
Prices, availability, and product packaging change without notice. Anything that looks like a price is a snapshot, not an offer. Always confirm the current price and specification on the retailer’s page before buying. We are not responsible for a retailer’s pricing, shipping, warranty, or return policy.
You are never obliged to use an affiliate link. Searching the product name directly will usually find the same retailer. If you do use our links, thank you — that commission is what keeps the site independent and free.
If anything here is unclear, or you believe a link has been placed in a way that is not properly disclosed, write to hello@homewareedit.com and we will fix it.
